THE PUNISHER Season 2 Gets a New Teaser Trailer, Premiere Date, and Synopsis

Netflix has dropped a new teaser trailer for The Punisher Season 2, which announces that the series will premiere on January 18th, 2019.

The trailer also features the return of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle who is ready to go back on a killing spree. It also shows the return of Ben Barnes as Billy "Jigsaw" Russo and it shows him wearing a new mask that covers up the injuries he sustained in the previous season's finale.

The new teaser trailer is sure to get fans excited but before you watch it, here’s the first official synopsis:

Former marine-turned-vigilante Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) has been living a quiet life on the road until he suddenly becomes embroiled in the attempted murder of a young girl (Giorgia Whigham). As he is drawn into the mystery surrounding her and those in pursuit of the information she holds, Castle attracts a new target on his back as new and old enemies force him to confront whether he should accept his destiny and embrace a life as “The Punisher.”

Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal) serves as showrunner, writer and executive producer of Season 2 and the cast also includes Amber Rose Revah (Dinah Madani), Jason R. Moore (Curtis), Josh Stewart (John Pilgrim), and Floriana Lima (Dr. Krista Dumont).

I also included a few new photos that have been released for Season 2 below the trailer. This will probably be the last season of The Punisher so lets enjoy it while we’ve got it!
