Puzzles will Play a Big Role in ATELIER RYZA 2: LOST LEGENDS & THE SECRET FAIRY

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is coming from Koei Tecmo this Winter. We recently learned a little more about what to expect like puzzles in ruins. Throughout the course of the game, Ryza will try to learn about legends by investigating the ruins around the Royal Capitol. Exploring these ruins will take some ingenuity from players as they solve unique puzzles, but will reward the players with new discoveries and actions like the ability to ride monsters.

Players will want to fill their Exploration Diary as much as possible during these excursions. The diary is a place to organize your discoveries and “allow [players] to form their own theories and solve every mystery they encounter.” You’ll need to collect Ruin Fragments and Memory Fragments though to uncover any clues. Luckily, the Compass of Recollection will help guide players to Ruin Fragments.

Finally, it was revealed that Lent Marslink will be returning for the sequel. However, after years of honing his skills, his demeanor has changed, “and he’s not happy to reunite with his friends.” What happened?

Atelier Ryza 2 will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PC, and PS4 this Winter.
