Queen Latifah Is Looking to Kick Some Ass in Teaser Trailer for THE EQUALIZER Series

CBS has released the first teaser trailer for its series reboot of The Equalizer, and it features Queen Latifah looking to kick some ass. This is definitely a different kind of role for Latifah as she’s not really known for making action projects.

The crime drama series comes from Andrew Marlow and Terri Miller, and the teaser shows Latifah as Robyn McCall, an enigmatic figure who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.

The Equalizer also stars Lorraine Toussaint, Tory Kittles, Adam Goldberg, Liza Lapira, and Laya DeLeon Hayes. The series is scheduled to make its debut on Sunday, February 7th after the Super Bowl.
