Quentin Tarantino Casts Mike Moh as Bruce Lee in ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD

We've got some cool new information regarding Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The legendary Bruce Lee will play a part in the story and according to The Wrap, he will be played by actor Mike Moh. Moh has released several videos online paying tribute to Bruce Lee over the years and he starred as Ryu in the Street Fighter web-series. 

There's no information on how big of a role Bruce Lee will play in the story, but it's great to know that he will in some way be involved with the story. You can see a Tweet from Moh below honoring Lee along with one of his videos.

Tarantino's new film has been described as a Pulp Fiction-like film that centers on characters around Los Angeles in the summer of 1969. The Manson Family murders serve as a backdrop to the story, which follows the two lead characters Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), a former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor…Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), who will be played by Robbie.

Damian Lewis will play Steve McQueen; Dakota Fanning is set as Squeaky Fromme, the Manson follower who later tried to assassinate President Gerald Ford; Nicholas Hammond will play director Sam Wanamaker; and Emile Hirsch is playing Jay Sebring, the Hollywood hairstylist who was one of four victims in the Tate murders. Luke Perry will play Scotty Lancer, Clifton Collins Jr. will play Ernesto The Mexican Vaquero, Keith Jefferson is Land Pirate Keith, and Al Pacino is playing Marvin Schwarz, who will be DiCaprio’s character’s agent in the story.

The movie also stars James Marsden, Michael Madsen, Timothy Olyphant, Burt Reynolds, and Tim RothOnce Upon a Time in Hollywood will be released on August 9th, 2019.
