Quibi Has Released a Super Bowl Ad That Explains the Streamer's Unique Content
We’ve got a cool little ad for everyone to check out that gives viewers a little info on what exactly makes the content at the upcoming streaming service Quibi so unique. It’s a fun, short commercial that explains that the name Quibi actually stands for “quick bite,” as in shortened, powerful pieces of content that only lasts around 10 minutes.
The streamer already has a gigantic list of series ahead of its April launch, including Spielberg’s After Dark, Murder House Flip, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and Dishmantled, and that’s just scratching the surface! I am excited to check out all the new content available beginning April 6, 2020, for $4.99 with ads, $7.99 without.
That service was created by Jeffrey Katzenberg, and while there are some interesting shows being developed that also include Varsity Blues and The Fugitive series and other projects from Guillermo del Toro, Antoine Fuqua, Sam Raimi, Jason Blum, Steven Soderbergh, Catherine Hardwick, Anna Kendrick, Doug Liman, Laurence Fishburne, Don Cheadle, and Idris Elba.
Check out the commercial below, and let us know if you’re excited about Quibi.
