Quirky, Fun, and Crazy Trailer For Charlie Kaufman's Netflix Film I'M THINKING OF ENDING THINGS

Netflix has released the first trailer for Charlie Kaufman’s latest film, I'm Thinking of Ending Things. This is his first film since the 2015 movie Anomalisa and as you’ll see, it’s got Kaufman’s strange signature storytelling style all over it! If you’re a fan of Kaufman’s work, you’re gonna like what you see in this trailer, the movie is going to be incredibly quirky, fun, and a little crazy!

The story follows a young woman who heads off with her new boyfriend to a secluded farm. When she gets there, weird things start happening and she begins to question everything she thought she knew about him, and herself. This story is filled with all kinds of wild twists and hidden meanings and I’m certainly intrigued by what I’ve seen in the trailer.

The movie is based on Iain Reid's novel of same name and the movie stars Jessie Buckley, Jesse PlemonsToni ColletteDavid ThewlisColby Minifie, and Guy Boyd. Here’s the synopsis:

Despite second thoughts about their relationship, a young woman (Jessie Buckley) takes a road trip with her new boyfriend (Jesse Plemons) to his family farm. Trapped at the farm during a snowstorm with Jake’s mother (Toni Collette) and father (David Thewlis), the young woman begins to question the nature of everything she knew or understood about her boyfriend, herself, and the world. 

I'm Thinking of Ending Things was written and directed by Charlie Kaufman and it will start streaming on Netflix on September 4th.
