Quirky Trailer for Dramedy ANGRY NEIGHBORS Starring Frank Langella and Bobby Cannavale, With Cheech Marin Voicing a Dog
A quirky trailer and a poster have been released for the dramedy Angry Neighbors, starring Frank Langella (The Americans, The Trial of the Chicago 7) and Bobby Cannavale (Will and Grace, Ant-Man), as well as Cheech Marin (Born in East L.A., Cheech and Chong), who voices a dog in the movie named Hector. They are joined by Stockard Channing (Grease, Practical Magic), and Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars).
Here’s the synopsis:
When his ultra-wealthy neighbor in the Hamptons builds an obnoxious mega-mansion next door, grumpy retired novelist Harry March concocts an elaborate scheme for revenge that is destined to go hilariously awry.
This sounds like it could be funny, and the cast is great, but the trailer honestly felt a little weird. I didn’t find myself laughing at all, and the unexplained storyline involving Langella’s character and his obsession with hair seemed really weird and dark. But maybe the trailer is misleading and this will turn out to be a hoot. Check out the trailer and poster below, and watch Angry Neighbors in select US theaters and on VOD on December 2nd.
