Rad New Clip From Disney and Marvel's Animated Series MOON GIRL AND DEVIL DINOSAUR
An awesome new clip has been released by Disney giving fans a sneak peak at the upcoming animated series Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. In the show, “After 13-year-old super-genius Lunella accidentally brings ten-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City via a time vortex, the duo works together to protect the city's Lower East Side from danger.”
The voice cast includes Laurence Fishburne, who is pulling double duty as an executive producer and as the voice of the cosmic being The Beyonder; Diamond White (The Bold and the Beautiful, The Lion Guard) as Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl); Alfre Woodard (Luke Cage) as Lunella's grandmother, Mimi; Libe Barer (Sneaky Pete) as Lunella's best friend and manager, Casey; Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live) as Lunella's mom, Adria; Jermaine Fowler (Superior Donuts) as Lunella's dad, James Jr.; Fred Tatasciore (Marvel's Avengers Assemble) as the one-and-only Devil Dinosaur; and Gary Anthony Williams (Doc McStuffins) as Lunella's grandfather, Pops.
This new clip from the "Run The Rink" episode of Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur features Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl) getting the chance to run her family's business – the "Roll With It" roller rink on the Lower East Side – for a night, but her impatience leads her to try to juice things up, causing a disaster. To make enough money to fix it all, Lunella's best friend Casey concocts a "special appearance by Moon Girl and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur," which attracts lots of customers – but also a few supervillains, including Gravitas. Lunella must learn to slow things down and be patient to save her family's beloved business and defeat Gravitas, set to the tune of Childish Gambino's "Sweatpants."
Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is produced by Black-ish and Grown-ish executive producer Helen Sugland, and it’s slated to premiere on February 10th, 2023 on Disney Channel and shortly after on Disney+. Check out the clip below, and let us know what you think.
