Rad Trailer for HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED 2: TURBOCHARGED

Get ready for some more radical Hot Wheels gaming action! Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged has been announced by game developer and publisher Milestone, and it looks like it’s going to be a blast! The first game, Hot Wheels Unleashed, was awesome and it ended up being a pretty popular racing game.

A trailer has been released for the new game and it was also announced that it will be released later this year on October 19th across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged builds on the original game but brings new vehicle types, new driving mechanics, more game modes, an improved livery editor, and some fresh environments in which to build your perfect Hot Wheels track — which also includes new specialized modules. The official description reads:

"Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged will launch with over 130 vehicles, including the debut of motocycles and ATVs. Along with the greater diversity of vehicles and environments, which open up more dynamic and strategic racing scenarios, drivers' skills will be tested with the addition of two new abilities to the Unleashed series – dash and jump. Lateral dashing will allow for tactical sideswipes against opponents, obstacle dodging, and daring overturns until the finish line, while players will also be able to perform dramatic jumps anytime and anywhere."

One of the new game modes will be a story-driven campaign that features four different racers and comes with unique animated cutscenes. New multiplayer options include online and offline events, with drifting and games like Demo Derby, Elimination, and Grab the Gears. Online modes will also be fully cross-play enabled, with the exception of the Nintendo Switch, and local two-player split-screen returns.

This game looks like it’s going to be a big step up from the first one, and I’m excited to play it! Watch the trailer and let us know what you think!
