Radical Final Trailer for the LEAGUE OF LEGENDS Animated Series ARCANE

Netflix has released a a final trailer for its insanely cool-looking League of Legends animated series Arcane. This show looks so damn good, and I’m loving the art and animation style that make up the stunning visuals. This new trailer is filled with some great new footage that I know fans are going to enjoy watching. I’m super excited about this series!

The story is set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun. The story follows the “origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.” The two characters featured in the series include Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (Ella Purnell) and the trailer shows the chaos that follows the the estranged sisters as they find themselves on opposing sides.

Greg Street, head of creative development at Riot, previously said, "It’s not a light-hearted show. There are some serious themes that we explore there, so we wouldn’t want kids tuning in and expecting something that it’s not."

Co-creator Brandon Beck shared, "Arcane is one of these big, exciting endeavors for us. Originally, League started off with a bunch of characters and we threw them together really quickly. Over time, players became really attached to the characters and we wanted to build more of a universe around them. We have been, over the last few years, experimenting with what can longer-form epic storytelling look like. Animation felt like a natural way for us to deliver a fantastical world.”

The goal of Arcane is to expand the League of Legends universe and play with the characters that fans have come to love over the years. League of Legends: Arcane will debut its first four episodes on November 6th. After that, two three-episode acts will be released on November 13th and November 20th.
