Radical John Carpenter Directed Music Video Pays Tribute to Stephen King's CHRISTINE
As you may have heard, director John Carpenter has a new album coming out of new music that he has composed. The album is called Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998 and the tracklist consists of names from films that he has worked on such as Halloween, They Live, The Fog, The Thing, Starman, In the Mouth of Madness, and more.
Today we have a new music video to share with you for one of the tracks called Christine, which is based on the 1983 film he directed that is based on Stephen King's classic novel. I think it's pretty awesome that he revisited Christine for his first music video from the album. It would be so cool if he revisited all his films by making music videos for each of the scores on his tracklist.
If you're a fan of Carpenter and his work, there's no doubt that you're gonna enjoy this! There's a very good chance that he'll be coming back to compose a score for the upcoming Halloween movie being developed by Danny McBride and David Gordon Green.
Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998 is set to be released on October 20 on Sacred Bones. He plans on going on tour with this thing performing these tracks live. You can check out the tour dates for that here.
