Radio DJ Horror Comedy Game KILLER FREQUENCY Is Coming To VR And Steam In 2022

Team 17 has announced a new game inspired by 80s/90s horror comedy movies, Killer Frequency. Arriving later this year in Meta Quest 2 and Steam via flat screen mode, Killer Frequency will put you in the shoes of a radio DJ pulling the graveyard shift in mid-America.

Unfortunately for you, there is a serial killer on the loose that you will need to help callers escape. Get clues from caller conversations and solve puzzles in the booth to help them survive the night. But don’t forget to keep the radio show going with a retro 80s inspired soundtrack.

There’s not much to the trailer to see how well they pulled off the look of the game, but the concept sounds really fun. I love the idea of the branching dialogue working with puzzles in the studio to help the people survive the night.

Of course, having it fully voice acted will help add to the atmosphere of the game. Honestly, it  sounds like the exact kind of horror game that VR was meant to be used for. No release date yet, but you can wish list it on Steam now.
