RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK Is Returning to Theaters in June!
If you’ve never seen Raiders of the Lost Ark in theaters on the big screen, that’s going to change next month! It’s been announced that Lucasfilm will be releasing the 1981 adventure film in theaters on June 4th and June 7th! So, you’ve got two days to catch the movie on the big screen!
On June 6th, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will all be getting their first-ever individual 4K disc releases.
The films are getting an HDR upgrade thanks to the 4K scans of the original negatives. Director Steven Spielberg also approved the extensive work that was done to improve each and every frame and each movie was reworked at Skywalker Sound to get a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.
This is all happening prior to the release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and it’s being hosted by Fathom Events. AMC, Cinemark, and Regal theaters are all participating in the event with showtimes at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. each day.
The awesome film follows "an intrepid archaeologist who tries to beat a band of Nazis to a unique religious relic known as the ark of the covenant, which is central to their plans for world domination.
The film has been hailed as a classic in the world of cinema. The film is a masterclass in storytelling and it just captivated audiences. I’m such a huge fan of this movie, and I couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to watch it on the big screen!
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be released in theaters June 30th! This is just some cool stuff to prep us for what’s coming! The end of a legend.
