Rami Malek's Bond Villain in NO TIME TO DIE is Described as "a Nasty Piece of Work"
There’s still a lot that we don’t know about the upcoming James Bond film, No Time To Die. We know that Daniel Craig’s 007 will find himself up against another villain, and that villain is being played by Rami Malek.
Thanks to producer Barbara Broccoli, we now have a little tease of who Bond will find himself up against. He’s already faced off with some great villains such as Mads Mikkelsen’s Le Chiffre, Javier Bardem’s Raoul Silva, and Christoph Waltz as Ernst Stavro Blofeld. As for Quantum Of Solace’s villain, Dominic Greene, he was a pretty forgettable villain.
Anyway, Broccoli says that they’ve “thrown the book” at Bond in No Time To Die. She explained to Empire that “He is really the supervillain. He’s the one that really gets under Bond’s skin. He’s a nasty piece of work.”
It sounds to me like they are setting up the most insane and evil Bond villain yet, which is pretty exciting to know! I can’t wait to see how bad this new Bond villain will be.
In this next story, “Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.” That technology will reportedly be based on genetic warfare.
Craig and Malek are joined by Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q, with Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, Christoph Waltz as Blofeldand, and Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter. New cast members include Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Arma, David Dencik, and Lashana Lynch.
No Time To Die is set to hit theaters on April 8th, 2020.
