Ralph Fiennes Hopes To Stay a Part of The James Bond Franchise To Train The New 007
Ralph Fiennes was introduced as M in the James Bond franchise with Skyfall. He made a great addition to the cast and he was fantastic in the role. It turns out that he’s very much enjoyed playing the character and he hopes to continue playing M as the franchise moves forward without Daniel Craig.
Craig’s final Bond film is No Time To Die, we have no idea what the plans for the franchise are after this. But, Fiennes would like to stick around to train the new Bond. During a recent interview with GamesRadar, the actor said:
"If anyone from Eon Films is listening, I'm very keen to continue training the new Bond. I love playing M, and I love being part of that franchise. But who knows? Things have to change. But I love working with Daniel. He's a terrific Bond. I will treasure that experience."
I’m excited about finally being able to watch No Time To Die, but I can’t help be curious about how they will proceed with the franchise now that Craig is no longer playing James Bond.
Will there be another hard reset of the franchise? Or will they continue a story set in this same world that they built around Craig? We’ll eventually find out! What would you like to see happen?
No Time To Die is currently set to be released on April 2nd, 2021.
