RAMPAGE Star Jason Liles to do Motion Capture for King Ghidorah in GODZILLA 2

When you think of Rampage, you probably think of Dwayne Johnson or maybe Naomie Harris. You probably don’t think of Jason Liles who did the motion capture for the albino gorilla George. Liles has previously worked on Men in Black 3 and Death Note and it looks like his next project will be Godzilla 2, the sequel to the 2014 reboot GodzillaTheWrap reports that he will be one of several motion-capture actors who will be working on bringing King Ghidorah to life. For those unfamiliar, King Ghidorah is an armless, three-headed, dragon-like monster.

The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

The film will be directed by Michael Dougherty and it was written by Dougherty and Zach Shields. It will star Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, and Millie Bobby Brown who will play the family that the film centers around.  O’Shea Jackson Jr., Thomas Middleditch, Zhang Ziyi, Bradley Whitford, Charles DanceAisha HindsKen Watanabe and Sally Hawkins will all be reprising their roles as Monarch agents.

Godzilla 2 will hit theaters March 22, 2019, and Godzilla vs. Kong is already slated for May 22, 2020.
