Randall Park from FRESH OFF THE BOAT Cast in AQUAMAN for Reshoots
Randall Park is a fun comedian with his most current role being Louis on ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat. We also learned several months ago that he was joining Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp.
It looks like Park is sitting pretty well as he has now joined DC’s Aquaman. Park is being added as Dr. Stephen Shin during the reshoots of Aquaman. If you are not familiar with Dr. Shin (like me), the Aquaman Wiki describes him as a friend who helps a young Aquaman develop his powers. Unfortunately, it sounds like he later becomes obsessed with finding the lost city of Atlantis. Sounds like an interesting character for sure. The announcement came from a tweet by the film’s director James Wan.
“Aquaman is the King of the Seven Seas. This reluctant ruler of Atlantis, caught between a surface world constantly ravaging the sea and Atlanteans looking to lash out in revolt, is committed to protecting the entire globe.”
Aquaman will swim into theaters on December 21, 2018.
