Some rare and wonderful behind-the-scenes footage has surfaced from Disney's classic 90s animated film Beauty and the Beast. It features Angela Lansbury and the late Jerry Orbach recording the song "Be Our Guest" with a live orchestra and I couldn't help but just smile as I watched this.

The footage is part of a documentary being made by Beauty and the Beast producer Don Hahn that will explore the life and career of Howard Ashman, who collaborated with Alan Menken on some of the classic and most memorable songs from the Disney animated films in the 90s.

For those of you who don't know, Ashman passed away at age 40, only months before Disney's Beauty and the Beast premiered.
