Rare Live-Acton Captain America Clip from 1966 Marvel Superheroes Cartoon Series

One of our readers sent in this great video clip from the 1966 Marvel Superheroes cartoon series featuring a live-action Captain America. In it, the hero gives a very passionate speech about being a "Marvelite." The video was posted back in 2007, but has seemed to go unnoticed. The quality of the video isn't the best, but It's definitely fascinating and worth your time to check out.

The video was posted by YouTube user TheHoldingCoat, and this is the note that came along with it:

Shot off the TV with Super 8mm camera, audio recorded on a reel-to-reel by placing the microphone near the TV's speaker, this is Captain America (played by Arthur Pierce) on WNAC-TV, Ch. 7 Boston in 1966.

This is something I've never seen before, and I thought it was pretty freakin' cool. I'm sure other Marvel fans will appreciate it as well. Check it out!
