Rashida Jones Teaming Up with ROBOT CHICKEN Producers for FILTHY ANIMALS Animated Comedy on Quibi

Quibi is the hot new streaming service that everyone’s talking about and now Rashida Jones and the Robot Chicken producers are joining the party with Filthy Animals. The show will be an animated sci-fi comedy created by Nikolai and Simon Haaas, Carey O’Donnell, and Johnny Smith with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios (the producers of Robot Chicken) producing the series. Jones will star in Filthy Animals as Sunny Day, “a lonely, too-smart-for-her-own-good suburban 12-year-old who befriends Cruz, a selfish, renegade, messy, suave adoptive cat.” In addition, she will serve as an executive producer.

Quibi launched earlier this month and offers TV shows and movies released in short form episodes of 10 minutes. The platform offers a 90-day free trial with an ad-supported plan running $5 per month or an ad-free version for $8.
