Ravensburger Announces HORRIFIED: AMERICAN MONSTERS and New ECHOES Line of Games
Last week, Ravensburger announced three awesome new games releasing this fall. First, we have Horrified: American Monsters which is the follow-up to Horrified: Universal Monsters, a game that I really enjoy. This new title is a standalone game with new beasts for you to defeat. The new monsters are Bigfoot, Mothman, the Jersey Devil, the Chupacabra, the Banshee of the Badlands, and the Ozark Howler. Horrified: American Monsters is designed by Mike Mulvihill with new puzzles by Gaby Wieldling and Gal Klapfer and developed by Prospero Hall. Fans will be able to purchase this game in October 2021 at Target with an MSRP of $34.99.
The other two games are part of the new echoes line of games and will release this fall. The echoes games will be audio mystery titles that use a free companion app to trigger sound clues and more. Players will have to piece together the sound clues and the illustrations in order to solve the mystery. Over the course of the game, you’ll have to figure out what’s happening in each of the six chapters, and then put the chapters in the correct order. If you are correct, the app will then share an epilogue with you. The first two titles will be echoes: The Dancer and echoes: The Cocktail. Each game will have an MSRP of $9.99, includes mature content, and is designed for 1-6 players. I can’t wait to try out these games!
In echoes: The Dancer, players work to unravel the mystery of a haunting manor in the Scottish countryside, and in echoes: The Cocktail, players visit a smoky New York speakeasy and uncover the truth about the mobster Cruel Steve.
