Ravensburger Announces THE PRINCESS BRIDE ADVENTURE BOOK GAME
The Princess Bride is a classic film. It offers romance, drama, action, adventure, humor, and has a little something for everyone. Now, Ravensburger is hoping to bring the same kind of charm to tabletops in a new board game, The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game. This will be a cooperative game that has one to four players trying to tell the story of The Princess Bride without things going wrong or being interrupted by a sick grandchild.
In this chapter-based board game, players need to work together to keep the plot of the story on course and tell all six chapters despite constant interruptions from a sick Grandson and interference from Vizzini, Count Rugen and Prince Humperdink. Players cooperate to complete challenges by moving the seven paintable character miniatures and discarding Story cards from their hand. Once all chapters are completed, the players win the game and true “wuv” prevails.
I’m very interested in this game and hope that it’s fun. The miniatures look great for a $24.99 game, and fans can grab The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game from Target on October 4.
