Razer Announces Still Overpriced Razer Blade 15 Base Gaming Laptop for Budget Gamers

Razer has been revealing a fair number of new powerful laptops for people to enjoy. We got the Razer Book 13 productivity laptop, the Razer Blade 15 Studio, and more. Well, recently, Razer announced a new 15” laptop for fans who are still somewhat on a budget. The Razer Blade 15 family now has the Razer Blade 15 Base model. This laptop costs $1499.99 and features a 15” 120Hz full HD screen, the Intel Core i7-10750H, 16GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD (with an open M.2 slot), and an NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti. The keyboard features Razer Chroma RGB and teh body itself is CNC-finished aluminum. If you’re worried about size or weight, the 15 Base weighs in at 4.5 lbs and measures in at 0.81" x 9.25" x 13.98" (20.5 mm x 235 mm x 355 mm).

I know that reputation can lead to a premium, but I’ve found laptops with identical or even better specs running for less. This is a good step in the right direction, though.

If you’re on the Razer train though, or want to merely support them for thinking a little bit more about more basic models, you can pre-order your Razer Blade 15 Base on Razer’s site.
