Razer's Modular Tomahawk Desktop is Launching Pre-Orders This Month
Earlier this year at CES, Razer showed off the Tomahawk Gaming Desktop. This is a small and modular desktop computer for creators, gamers, and professionals to use. It measures at a mere 210mm x 150mm x 365mm and packs an Intel Core i9-9980HK processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory, a 512GB SSD + 2TB HDD, and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080. The sled is made out of CNC-milled aluminum and is lined along the bottom with Razer Chroma RGB.
Along the back, the included ports include 4x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 2x USB-C Thunderbolt 3, 3x Gigabit Ethernet, and 1x 3.5mm rear speakers/TOSLINK combo. Pre-orders for the Tomahawk are set to go live some time this month with the base models costing $2,399.99. You’ll need to head over to Razer’s site to place your pre-order.
I personally think that the design for the Tomahawk is awesome and it looks so nice. I also like the modular sled design with trays you can pull out for installing the graphics card. It comes off as a lot friendlier to people who aren’t used to doing PC upgrades.
