Razzie Nominations 2026 Go for the Jugular as SNOW WHITE and WAR OF THE WORLDS Rack Up Six Nods Each
The Golden Raspberry Awards have unleashed their 2026 nominations, and the results are delightfully brutal. This year’s list of cinematic misfires is led by Snow White and War of the Worlds, with both films snagging six nominations apiece. If there’s a trophy no one wants on their shelf, these movies are currently fighting hardest for it.
The biggest punching bag appears to be War of the Worlds, the sci-fi thriller starring Ice Cube as a computer security analyst who stumbles into dark government secrets right as aliens decide Earth looks snackable.
The film is up for Worst Picture along with several other categories, which feels almost mathematically inevitable once you remember its icy 4% Rotten Tomatoes score. Critics actively rejected it.
Disney didn’t escape the Razzie spotlight either. Its live-action Snow White remake also collected six nods, including Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Screenplay. The fairy tale revival clearly didn’t charm voters, who seem to think this particular apple was rotten all the way through.
Directors weren’t spared from the carnage. Marc Webb, who steered Snow White, and Rich Lee, responsible for War of the Worlds, both landed Worst Director nominations.
They’re joined in that category by Olatunde Osunsanmi for Star Trek: Section 31, Trey Edward Shults for Hurry Up Tomorrow, and the Russo Brothers for The Electric State.
Adding another layer of chaos, The Weeknd is now officially a Worst Actor contender, further proving that even chart-topping pop dominance doesn’t grant immunity from Razzie voters. If nothing else, it’s a reminder that Hollywood hubris comes in many forms and the Razzies are always happy to call it out.
The full list of nominations is packed with misfires and the 2026 Razzies are shaping up to be as savage as ever, and these films are firmly in the crosshairs.
