REACHER Season 2 Will Tell the Story of Lee Childs' BAD LUCK AND TROUBLE

The first season of Amazon’s Reacher was a hell of a great show! Alan Ritchson is perfect in the role of Jack Reacher and he recently confirmed that Season 2 of the series will follow the events of Lee Childs' book Bad Luck and Trouble.

The actor shared the news on Twitter recently featuring a photo of himself holding up the novel and pointing out a couple of lines from its pages. "O'Donnell put his hand in his pocket and came out with his brass knuckles. Ceramic knuckles, technically." He also revealed that Season 2 will start shooting this fall.

The official logline for season 2 reads: "When the members of Reacher's old military unit start turning up dead, Reacher has just one thing on his mind – revenge."

Here’s the story description from the book:

From a helicopter high above the California desert, a man is sent free-falling into the night. On the streets of Portland, Jack Reacher is pulled out of his wandering life and plunged into the heart of a conspiracy that is killing old friends . . . and the people he once trusted with his life.

Reacher is the ultimate loner—no phone, no ties, no address. But a woman from his old military unit has found him using a signal only the eight members of their elite team would know. Then she tells him a terrifying story about the brutal death of a man they both served with. Soon Reacher is reuniting with the survivors of his team, scrambling to unravel the sudden disappearance of two other comrades. But Reacher won’t give up—because in a world of bad luck and trouble, when someone targets Jack Reacher and his team, they’d better be ready for what comes right back at them.

Its also been announced that Maria Sten is set to come back and Frances Neagley, which makes sense as she plays a significant role in the book. Chris Webster, Hugh Thompson, Harvey Guillén, Kristin Kreuk, Currie. Graham, Marc Bendavid, Willie C. Carpenter, Maxwell Jenkins, and Bruce McGill round out the first season's supporting cast.
