REACHER Spinoff Series NEAGLEY Gets Greenlight From Prime Video
Prime Video is developing a Reacher spinoff series that will center on Maria Sten‘s fan-favorite character Frances Neagley, and it will be titled Neagley.
Neagley is a corporate security professional and former military colleague of Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. She’s a badass character, and it’s cool to see that she will be getting her own show!
The project is on the fast track to development and Reacher showrunner Nick Santora has teamed with Nicholas Wootton (Prison Break) to develop the project. The two will executive produce and co-showrun the series.
There are no details to share regarding the story, but I’m looking forward to seeing what this show becomes. I’m a big fan of Reacher, and I’m hoping the strong writing and storytelling will carry over into this new show.
The author of the Jack Reacher books, Lee Child, is producing the series and he’s joined by Don Granger, and Lisa Kussner with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell.
While we wait for this show, Reacher Season 3 is coming, and it will see Jack Reacher go undercover to rescue an informant held by a haunting foe from his past.
