Image Comics and Syzygy have announced the complete and extra length tale of Onyx will be coming this September. Artist Gabriel Rodriguez, colorist Jay Fotos, and writer Chris Ryall will bring you a one shot sci-fi adventure set in the near future Nigeria.

Beset by overpopulation and food shortages, two alien life forms arrive on earth. One corrupts all lifeforms in its presence, is Onyx here to save the planet or will she help destroy it?

The cover art looks great and the premise sounds interesting. Onyx will be released at comic book shops and digital platforms September 28 and is available for pre-order now.
