READY PLAYER ONE Gets a Radical Drew Struzan Inspired Poster Filled with Easter Eggs
We've got a radical new poster for Steven Spielberg's film adaptation of Ernest Cline's Ready Player One! The poster was created by artist Paul Shipper and as you can see it pays homage to the classic movie poster art of the 80s that were created by legendary illustrator Drew Struzan.
The cool thing about this poster is that it's loaded with Easter eggs! For those of you familiar with Ready Player One, then you know all the Easter eggs that have been loaded into the marketing of this film makes perfect sense.
This poster is definitely a lot better than the first poster that was released that featured Wade Watts with a freaky long leg. Shipper shared the poster on Twitter, and he did such a great job with it! The poster came with the following note:
"So proud to now be able to share this with you all! The official illustrated one sheet for Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Ernest Cline’s holy grail of pop culture Ready Player One."
Check out the poster and let us know what Easter eggs you can find! I will say that most of the Easter eggs you'll find have been included in the trailers for the film. The poster also gives us our first look at some of the characters we haven't seen yet like like Daito and Shoto. To watch the latest trailer for it, click here.
