RE:ANIME Launches AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER Short Video AGNI KAI
It’s been a long time coming, by RE:ANIME has finally released their short film, Avatar the Last Airbender: Agni Kai. We first learned of this project back in October 2018 and I’ve been doing my best to be patient while waiting for the end result.
The short film is really awesome and does bring the final Zuko vs Azula fight to live-action. If I had any complaints, it would be that there are times where Zuko’s red/orange flames look more like dust than fire. I really did enjoy Nikki Soohoo’s performance as Azula though. She did a fantastic job.
It is also interesting how they made it a flashback for Katara as she’s talking to Korra about life. That was a neat touch.
Agni Kai stars Yasmin Kassim as Katara, Katrina Rosita as Korra, Soohoo as Azula, and Yoshi Sudarso as Zuko (that’s right Power Rangers fans).
