Rebel Wilson Set To Star in a High School Comedy SENIOR YEAR
Rebel Wilson is set to star in an upcoming high school comedy film project being produced by Paramount Players titled Senior Year. This will be Rebel’s first film project since her 2019 musical comedy Cats. She took a little break, but she’s back, and this film seems like a great project for her.
In the film, Wilson will play a cheerleader who “wakes up after a twenty year coma and returns to high school to try to regain her status and claim the prom queen crown that eluded her.”
Alex Hardcastle (Grace and Frankie, New Girl) is on board to direct with Brandon Scott Jones (The Good Place, Isn’t It Romantic) writing the script based on a spec from Andrew Knauer and Arthur Pielli. Wilson is also producing the film along with Todd Garner, Chris Bender, Jeremy Stein, Jake Wagner, and Jake Weiner.
