Red-Band Trailer for Brandon Cronenberg's Violent, Nightmare-Fueled Film POSSESSOR
Neon has released a red-band trailer for Brandon Cronenberg‘s upcoming nightmare-fueled thriller Possessor. And in case you were wondering, yes, Brandon Cronenberg is the son of director David Cronenberg.
This movie looks like it’s going to take audiences on a violent and horrific wild ride. This is the synopsis that was shared for the film and it actually has a pretty cool concept:
Tasya Vos (Andrea Riseborough) is a corporate agent who uses brain-implant technology to inhabit other people’s bodies, driving them to commit assassinations for the benefit of the company. While she has a special gift for the work, her experiences on these jobs have caused a dramatic change in her, and in her own life, she struggles to suppress violent memories and urges. As her mental strain intensifies, she begins to lose control, and soon she finds herself trapped in the mind of a man (Christopher Abbott) whose identity threatens to obliterate her own.
I’m always up for a film that takes the audience to the edge of insanity and then jumps off. It looks like this movie is going to do that and I’m ready to take the ride!
The movie also stars Rossif Sutherland, Tuppence Middleton, Sean Bean, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Neon will release Possessor this year.
