Red Death May Possibly Be the Main Villain in Channing Tatum's GAMBIT Movie

A few weeks ago we were treated to a possible plot for the upcoming Gambit movie that has already been changed and gone through a major upheaval in this past year. And now it appears that the main villain for the movie may be revealed. Enter Candra The Benefactress, known also as Red Death.

Where does this information come from, you may ask? Well... let me tell you. Omega Underground appears to have some secret connections and has learned that this vixen will be taking the main villain role. I guess if you know the history of Gambit, it shouldn't be that surprising. She is very much tied to his origins. Red Death controls two New Orleans gang of mutants, namely the Thieves Guild and Assassins Guild. Gambit is part of the first and love interest Bella the second.

Of course, we have no confirmation from Fox yet whether this will actually materialize. To be honest, my favorite love interest for Gambit in the X-Men series was Rogue, and I wonder how long we'de have to wait to see that happen. For now, I am just happy that we may finally see a full Gambit movie and not just a Wolverine fill-in.
