Regina Hall Stars in Creepy Trailer for Horror Film MASTER
A new trailer has been released for the creepy horror film Master, starring Regina Hall (Girls Trip, Nine Perfect Strangers) as professor Gail Bishop, who has recently been promoted to "Master" of a residence hall, the first black woman to do so. But all is not as it seems as she begins to uncover a sinister secret within the college’s history and walls. The film is written and directed by Mariama Diallo (Hair Wolf, Random Acts of Flyness) in her feature directorial debut. Hall is joined in the cast by Zoe Renee and Julia Nightingale.
Here’s the synopsis:
Three women strive to find their place at an elite Northeastern university as old as the country. When anonymous racist attacks target a Black freshman — who insists she is being haunted by ghosts of the school's past — each woman must determine where the real menace lies.
This looks like a crazy creepy story in the same category as Get Out. We will have to see if it’s as well done though. Master arrives on Prime Video on March 18, 2022.
