Remember That Awful Sci-Fi Film SKYLINE? Well, Here's The Awesome Trailer to the Sequel BEYOND SKYLINE
I wasn't even aware that a sequel to the 2010 sci-fi film Skyline was a thing until this trailer was released! I didn't really care for the first film and neither did a lot of other people as it currently has a 16% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. What's crazy, is that the sequel, Beyond Skyline, actually looks pretty good!
The movie stars Frank Grillo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), who is pretty great in everything he does and Iko Uwais (The Raid), who kicks major ass! This cast alone makes the film worth watching. I wonder how the production team actually talked them into being in the film. The special effects also look a lot better this time around than they did in that first film.
The story follows Frank Grillo as he sets out on a journey to rescue his son after he is sucked up in a giant spaceship by aliens. It's basically like a sci-fi version of Taken and Grillo has to kick alien ass to get his son back.
