Renegade Game Studios has announced they are in negotiations to expand their licensing relationship with Hasbro. This expansion will give them the rights to come out with new printings of Axis & Allies, Robo Rally, Diplomacy, and Squad Leader.

While they will not be taking over the Avalon Hill brand, Renegade’s printings of these games will start to hit shelves in 2023. Axis & Allies fans should be especially excited as Renegade has some fun plans for the game. Not only will they be reprinting the classic, but they will be bringing back some long out of print editions.

Also, there are plans to make new versions of Axis & Allies games set in the worlds of Power Rangers, Transformers, and G.I. Joe. This is really cool news and can help bring a whole new audience to this classic game. Keep an eye out for these games as they start to come out next year.
