RENO 911! Co-Creator Thomas Lennon Developing Animated Comedy THE POST GUARD
Reno 911! co-creator Thomas Lennon is developing the animated comedy titled The Post Guard at Fox. Lennon is a funny dude, and this sounds like it could be an entertaining and weird show.
The series is described as “a workplace adventure comedy following the rag tag crew of humans, turtles, seals and mermaids at the secretive, and often overlooked mashup of the Coast Guard and Post Office, as they scour the high seas to find and deliver messages in bottles, while settling who among them is in charge of the ship’s menial tasks, like resetting the WiFi.”
Lennon will write and executive produce the series, with Peter Principato, who is also executive producing. Fox Entertainment will produce along with Bento Box Entertainment.
On top of Reno 911! Lennon also worked as a screenwriter and co-wrote films such as the Night at the Museum franchise as well as The Pacifier and Balls of Fury. He’s also appeared as an actor in a ton of film, TV, and animated projects.
