The two teaser trailers that have been released for J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been recut into retro awesomeness. YouTube user Chris Anderson cut the footage together with the original Star Wars trailer from 1977 in honor of May the 4th.

I included the original teaser trailer as well so that you can compare the two. Trailers have sure come a long way since the 70s.

Watch the original Star Wars teaser trailer from 1976, featuring the world's first look at Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Darth Vader, and other classic characters and locales from a galaxy far, far away.
