Retro Trailer For Disney's 1980 Adventure Film THE LAST FLOGHT OF NOAH'S ARK

This week’s retro trailer is for the classic 1980 Disney film The Last Flight of Noah's Ark, which follows the story of Noah Dugan (Elliott Gould), a down-on-his-luck pilot, who reluctantly takes on a seemingly simple job to fly a missionary, Bernadette Lafleur (Geneviève Bujold), and a cargo of animals to a remote Pacific island.

The trip ends up takeing a dangerous turn when Dugan's vintage B-29 bomber crash-lands on an uncharted island. Stranded with no immediate rescue in sight, the group, which also includes two stowaway children, must work together to survive.

As they adapt to life on the island, Dugan and the group form a makeshift family, facing both natural challenges and their own inner conflicts.

To escape, the group devises a daring plan to turn the wrecked plane into a seaworthy vessel, a floating ark that can carry them back to civilization.

On their adventure, they encounter a pair of Japanese soldiers who have been stranded on the island since World War II.

The movie was directed by Charles Jarrott, and It’s a fun family adventure film worth checking out if you’ve never seen it!
