This week’s retro trailer is for the 1970 horror film Horror of the Blood Monsters! The film is set in the near future during a time when an intergalactic vampire plague threatens Earth.

In the story, an expedition is sent to a distant galaxy in hopes of discovering the plague's source. Landing on a mysterious planet they discover that Spectrum radiation has turned the atmosphere into a one-color tint. Exploring further, the group discovers living dinosaurs, a race of vampire cavemen, and other strange creatures.

The movie was directed by Al Adamson and it stars John Carradine. I also just have to say that I love this trailer! It’s got all the campiness that you’d expect from a horror film like this!
