This week’s retro trailer is for the 1983 horror film Revenge of the Boogeyman aka Boogeyman II. The movie serves as a sequel to the 1980 movie The Boogeyman.

The story revolves around Lacey, the original film's protagonist, who is trying to put her traumatic past behind her. As a child, she witnessed her mother's violent death, and in her adulthood, she moves to Hollywood to consult a film producer about making a movie based on the supernatural events she experienced revolving around a malevolent spirit trapped in a mirror. Of course, Lacey unwittingly brings a broken piece of glass from the mirror with her, resulting in dire consequences. The Boogeyman returns to torment her.

The movie was directed by Bruce Pearn, Ulli Lommel, and Paul Willson and they just don’t make movies like this anymore. This trailer is filled with so many cheesy great moments that only B movies from the 80s can offer.
