Instead, she ended up being sent to a hospital in Los Angeles run by Nuns. She always talked about those nuns and how they were so sweet and compassionate and how they helped her through this ordeal and nursed her back to health without having to amputate her leg. I’ve been told that this was one of the places that was organized by Cabrini.
