Review: THE ART OF THE DRAGON PRINCE is a Fantastic Treat for Fans
Wonderstorm has teamed up with Dark Horse to release The Art of The Dragon Prince. This is an art book for the hit Netflix series from Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond and it’s full of goodies for fans. The team was kind enough to send me a copy to review and it’s a lot of fun. Inside we get looks at early character designs including a dope outfit that wasn’t used for Sorin. Fans also get to learn little tidbits like Nyx was nicknamed Hanna Solo before she got her name.
There are also looks at the design process for some of the animals and creatures of Xadia as well as a look at the world itself. Of course, one of the biggest things is the fact that there are lore droplets. This includes information about the dragons and magic. They also share the process for creating Amaya and her sign language in the show for things like Moonshadow elves.
This book really is a treat for fans with the behind-the-scenes look it provides us.
If you’re a fan of The Dragon Prince, I would recommend picking up The Art of The Dragon Prince which is available now through retailers like Amazon. If you haven’t watched the show yet, you can find it on Netflix with three seasons currently and four more on the way.
