Review: The MM720 Mouse Delivers a Quality Experience for a Specific Crowd

I remember a time when a computer mouse had a ball at the bottom of it and you were lucky if it was working 70% of the time. But now, we have so many different options for quality, function, and design, it is hard to believe we ever had anything other than this smorgasbord of click experiences. The MM720 mouse Cooler Master it’s an extremely lightweight device that functions as well as it looks.

The first thing that makes it stand out is its design. The half of the mouse that your palm covers is fully open with a honeycomb design. This allows your hand to breathe a little, and the light that comes out of it looks really nice. I am worried about possible spills on it or even sweat and dust getting inside of it, but for now, there are no issues. Another major design choice is a spot for your ring finger if you’re using your right hand. This added rest for your finger makes the mouse a little better to hold on to than other mice. But I could see it getting in the way of anyone trying to use it if they’re left-handed. The mouse feels a little smaller than most, which works for my tiny, baby hands. But those who have “normal” size or large hands might find it difficult to use. Overall, the mouse looks really nice and its unique design points can be strengths if it is used by the right people, but those same design choices can be hindrances for other people.

As for the actual functionality, it works as well as any other average gaming mouse. Its slick movements and sliding feel great. The lightness can take some time to adjust, but the lightness is a much bigger positive than a possible negative. All the buttons function perfectly well and the actual click may be a little less loud and tactile, giving it a more discrete and functional vibe.

Overall this mouse does exactly what it sets out to be; look cool, feel light, and be very comfortable for the right people. It may not give the same precision feel like a typical gaming mouse, but if you fall under any of the categories of someone who has average to small hands, like bright colors, are right-handed, palms get a bit sweaty or need a better rest for you other fingers, then this mouse could be totally fit for you.
