Rey is in the Middle of Training on Ahch-To in New Photo From STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI
A new photo has surfaced from director Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The photo was shared by Yahoo! Movies and as you can see it features Rey (Daisy Ridley) in the middle of training on the island of Ahch-To, which, as you know, is where Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and the first Jedi Temple reside. She's not wielding the lightsaber yet, though.
It's a beautiful shot. I think it would be funny if we got some kind of classic 80s style training montage as she trains with Luke learning the ways of the force.
The movie also stars Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Domhnall Gleeson as Hux, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, and Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke. New cast members include Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran as Rose.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters on December 15, 2017.
