One of my favorite pickups from this year's Comic-Con was this incredible Batman poster by artist Rich Davis, created for Hero Complex Gallery.
The artwork is a vibrant love letter to the classic 1960s Batman TV series, packing in just about every fan-favorite character you could want.
Adam West's Caped Crusader takes center stage, surrounded by Burt Ward's Robin, Julie Newmar's Catwoman, Yvonne Craig's Batgirl, Cesar Romero's Joker, Burgess Meredith's Penguin, Frank Gorshin's Riddler, Vincent Price's Egghead, Victor Buono's King Tut, David Wayne's Mad Hatter, and even Mr. Freeze in both of his iconic TV incarnations.
It's a beautifully composed collage that perfectly captures the colorful, over-the-top spirit of the series.
I couldn't resist picking up the Metallic Variant edition. The colors on this thing absolutely pop. The metallic finish gives the already bold palette an extra layer of depth that makes every shade stand out even more.
Measuring 24x36 inches, the poster was released in two editions: a regular edition limited to 250 prints for $80 and a Metallic Variant limited to just 75 prints.
Whether you're a longtime fan of the classic series or simply appreciate outstanding pop culture artwork, this is one of those prints that demands attention the moment you hang it on the wall.
