Richard Donner's SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE is Coming Back To Theaters For Its 40th Anniversary

Director Richard Donner's Superman: The Movie is my favorite Superman film. None of these other films featuring the iconic hero have come close to achieving the greatness that that film has. Christopher Reeve was amazing as the Man of Steel and for those of you who are fans of the movie, you'll be happy to hear that its flying back into theaters for a special event to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its release!

Fandango listed the event as Superman 40th Anniversary on its website, courtesy of Fathom Events. Screening for the film will take place in select theaters on Sunday, November 25th. They haven't listed the theaters yet that will be showing the movie, so you'll just have to check back for that info. Those Fathom Events screenings usually get into a decent amount of theaters, though.

I had the opportunity to see Superman: The Movie on the big screen for the first time a few years ago and I even got to sit behind Richard Donner at the screening, which was pretty incredible! I'm definitely looking forward to the opportunity to see it on the big screen again to celebrate its 40th birthday.

Christopher Reeve starred alongside Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, Marlon Brando as Jor-El, and Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor. If you haven't seen this movie on the big screen yet, now is your chance! It's definitely worth the experience!
