RICK AND MORTY Fans Rejoice! Adult Swim Just Ordered 70 New Episodes!

Hot damn! After wondering what the future would hold for Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon's Rick and Morty, Adult Swim is ready to move forward with it in a huge way! According to THR, the network just ordered 70 freakin' episodes!

This whole thing is described as a long-term deal and now the creative team will finally get to start working on Season 4 and beyond. The report goes on to say that "the extent of this new pact is quite unexpected. Should Roiland and Harmon maintain anything close to their current production schedule, this will keep the show on the air for as long as another decade."

Hell yeah! Another 70 episodes will give Rick and Morty a total of 101 episodes when all is said and done. There's no word on when the first of these new episodes will air, but there's no doubt that fans will eagerly be waiting for the show's return.

To celebrate the deal, Adult Swim is rolling out a multi-city pop-up, the Rickmobile, to cater to the fervent fan base. The tour kicks off May 17 in Atlanta before making its way to San Diego Comic-Con in July.
