Adult Swim surprised Rick and Morty fans with a first look at the show’s fifth season! The first look is an animatic featuring a scene from one of the episodes that is being worked on. It’s a work in progress, but it’s still funny as hell.
The clip features the two title characters in a dangerous and deadly situation. As Rick gives up all hope, Morty is trying to save them, and in the process ends up making a date with a girl that substantially increases his will to live. It’s pretty damn hilarious!
There’s no word on when Season 5 will premiere, but it’s great to know that production on it is underway! Enjoy the clip below!
