RICK AND MORTY's Justin Roiland is Developing an Animated Alien Comedy For Hulu Called SOLAR OPPOSITES

Rick and Morty's Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan are teaming up to develop a new animated series for Hulu called Solar Opposites. The series sounds like it will be fun as it revolves around "a family of aliens from a better world who must take refuge in middle America. They disagree on whether this is awful or awesome."

Roiland and McMahan co-created the series and Roiland also leads the voice cast as the characters Terry and Korvo. The other members of the cast include Sean Giambrone as Yumyulack and Mary Mack as Jesse.

Roiland and McMahan will be working on this as well as Rick and Morty, which recently received a big 70 episode order from Adult Swim.

Solar Opposites is expected to open a writers room in October. They will develop 16-episodes for Season 1 and it will premiere sometime in 2020. I love what these guys have done with Rick and Morty, so I can't wait to see what they bring to this new series.
